Holistic approach in ageing strong for adults 60+ with a migration background
Active ageing, social inclusion and digital literacy for seniors 60+, with a special focus on migrants and refugees.
The aim
To promote active ageing, social inclusion and digital literacy among seniors, with a special focus on migrants and refugees — strengthening European values of solidarity, respect and cooperation while supporting seniors' mental, physical and emotional well-being.
Objectives
- 1Holistic training for seniors — a 12-week programme covering digital skills, healthy living, creativity and stress management.
- 2Promote social inclusion — reduce isolation through group activities and community initiatives.
- 3Strengthen digital literacy — essential online skills for communication, services and lifelong learning.
- 4Foster intergenerational learning — young volunteers as mentors, bridging generational gaps.
- 5Support mental & physical health — structured exercise, trauma recovery and mindfulness techniques.
- 6Build confidence and adaptability so seniors, especially migrants and refugees, rediscover a sense of purpose.
