GREENOVATE
Green entrepreneurship & circular economy for youth
Green entrepreneurship and the circular economy for young people — turning waste into products through upcycling.
The aim
To empower youth with entrepreneurial and green skills, enabling them to develop sustainable business models by repurposing waste, promoting a circular economy, and creating employment opportunities in green industries.
Objectives
- 1Equip youth with green skills — 60 young people in hands-on workshops developing sustainable ventures in waste management and upcycling.
- 2Research & toolkit creation — local studies on waste materials and a practical handbook for waste-based entrepreneurship.
- 3International training in the Netherlands — four intensive days for youth workers on sustainable business development.
- 4Local awareness & pilot projects — mentoring 20 young people per country to build upcycled prototypes such as biodegradable packaging or recycled furniture.
- 5Final conference & dissemination — a showcase event in Lithuania presenting the waste-to-wealth initiatives.
