Main Aim: The project aims to empower single parents by enhancing their employability, financial literacy, and digital skills, while strengthening the competencies of adult educators who support them. The project promotes social inclusion, equal opportunities, and long-term empowerment through tailored training, innovative resources, and international cooperation.
Objectives:
Increase Employability and Financial Independence: Provide single parents with career counseling, entrepreneurship training, and financial literacy skills.
Enhance Digital Competence: Develop digital literacy among single parents to improve access to education, employment, and community participation.
Strengthen Adult Educators’ Skills: Equip educators with innovative methodologies in career guidance, financial coaching, and digital education tailored to single parents.
Promote Inclusion and Social Participation: Create peer-support networks and child-friendly training spaces to ensure accessibility for vulnerable groups.
Develop Sustainable Resources: Create a mobile application and a practical toolkit to provide long-term learning opportunities and policy guidance.
Activities:
- Kick-off Meeting with partners in Lithuania
- Needs Analysis and focus groups with single parents
- Local and international training workshops for single parents (career development, financial literacy, digital skills, entrepreneurship)
- Training program for adult educators in career counseling, financial coaching, and digital education
- Development of a mobile application with career resources, financial planning tools, and peer-support features
- Creation of a comprehensive toolkit with best practices and strategies for NGOs, educators, and policymakers
- Peer-support networks and community events to engage single parents and raise awareness
- Multiplier Events and Final Conference in Lithuania for dissemination of results
