From April 16 to 19-th, 2025, the EACH Project partners gathered at the TeneLearning Educational Center in Tenerife for a training week focused on holistic well-being methodologies. This Erasmus+ co-funded initiative brought together educators and staff from Italy, Hungary, and Spain to exchange practices that promote mental, physical, and emotional health.
EACH is now at its midpoint, making it the perfect moment to reflect on current results and celebrate our mutual effort and achievements. The program combined professional development with hands-on learning experiences. Participants engaged in both structured workshops and practical activities designed to demonstrate effective well-being approaches. The schedule balanced indoor sessions with outdoor implementations, creating opportunities for both formal and informal learning.
Activities began with project coordination meetings where partners shared updates on the project's progress, exchanged ideas, and discussed future plans — all in a warm, collaborative atmosphere.
One of the highlights was a workshop held in the Botanical Garden of Puerto de la Cruz. This session perfectly embodied the project's integrated approach, pairing biological concepts with mindfulness techniques. Participants not only learned about nature in a biological context, but also practiced mindfulness right there in the fresh air among the greenery. It turned out to be a true balance of knowledge and inner peace. These working sessions helped align all organizations on next steps while reinforcing the collaborative spirit of the initiative.
Similarly, the physical well-being sessions — which began with Yoga and Pilates at the beach and continued at a local outdoor pool — demonstrated how simple, accessible activities can support health and relaxation.
A visit to a rural finca provided tangible examples of sustainable living. Participants engaged directly with permaculture principles through gardening, cooking, and discussions about conscious consumption — experiences many found particularly valuable for their practical relevance. The day continued with workshops on healthy cooking and hygiene.
A big moment during the finca visit was the presentation of the printed version of our ebook “Balanced Life, Peaceful Mind: Mindfulness and Healthy Eating” — the main intellectual output of the project. It’s packed with tools and techniques to help reduce stress, embrace mindfulness, and build healthier habits — for both body and mind. An online version is also available for download.
The training week concluded with reflection sessions where partners discussed how to apply these approaches in their own contexts. We reflected on our strengths and explored how we can ensure continued growth and development. Participants left with concrete methodologies and a stronger professional network to support their ongoing efforts, along with a sense of gratitude and a shared celebration of all we’ve achieved.
The EACH Project continues to develop resources at the intersection of well-being and active citizenship, with the Tenerife training week standing as an important milestone in this multinational journey.
